What Are Sunglasses?

Definition of sunglasses in English: plural noun

'Glasses tinted to protect the eyes from sunlight or glare.'

Who Wears Sunglasses?

Men, women, young, old, straight, gay, bisexual, transgender, cisgender. Occasionally cats and dogs or even a moose for the sake of a ridiculous photograph.

When Do We Wear Sunglasses?

Usually in the summer, when sun rays are particularly robust, however the lines here appear to be somewhat blurred; mainly by persons evading  paparazzi and equalling persons of whom wish they were evading paparazzi, or a woman recovering from a nightmarish hangover, or a woman who wasn't bothered to apply her makeup and doesn’t want to be seen by her ‘friend’ that makes condescending shrew comments, or to speak unambiguously fugitives. With all of the above sunglasses are worn on the greyest of days, and on some occasions at night, however for the percentage of us who do not fall into any of the above categories sunglasses are worn exclusively when the sun rays would otherwise impair our eyesight, and this usually happens in summer (or ski-ing or on a mountain top but we are discussing city situations here). For the faction of us that wear sunglasses exclusively in summer the idea of wearing sunnies during other seasons displays a sense of ridiculousness in a person, however, perhaps we are off beam. Dermatologist have professed that UV rays effect out skin all year round, even on a dull winters day, and have advised that SPF is used all year round, and the very same UV rays that menace your skin simultaneously damage your eyes, according to allaboutvision.com, sunglasses should be worn even at low-risk UV level (2 or less).  So perhaps we should neglect the fatuous image that sunglasses minus the sun presents and unite with the fugitives and  ‘basics’ in donning sunglasses proudly all year round.
